GrandWizzard Theodore has probably done more to advance the art of deejaying than any other single person. At age 13, he invented the needle drop and scratching. He was an original member of the L Brothers and the Fantastic 5ive.
He was featured in the original hip hop movie "Wild Style" having a battle with Cold Crush deejay Charlie Chase. In 1998, he was inducted into the DMC Technics DJ Hall of Fame and also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Turntablist Federation. He is the star of the documentary "Scratch," released in 2002.

Busy Bee Starski, also known as Chief Rocker Busy Bee, was born and raised in the Bronx and became an emcee in 1977. For many years, he won the Harlem World single Emcee Award until he was famously roasted by Kool Moe Dee of the Treacherous Three in what has become the most famous rap battle of all time. He played a starring role in Charlie Ahearn's "Wild Style," the first hip hop movie. More recently he played himself in the 2002 drama "Paid in Full" and also appears in the 2007 documentary "Hip Hop Legends."
